  • August Trammell is the Director of Client Management at the global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, where she provides tailored services to meet specific client needs with the aim of enhancing efficiency, fostering innovation, and strengthening relationships. In the community, she has served on several boards across a broad range of fields, including museums, collegiate organizations, healthcare services, and ministry.

    August has visited Mahima Homes in India on several occasions, which has broadened her worldview regarding the challenges of sexual exploitation on a global scale and the opportunities for individuals around the world to use their gifts to bring healing to women, children, and boys in Kolkata.

  • Bill Tucker is the Co-Founding Partner of Tucker, Midis & Associates (TMA). Mr. Tucker managed numerous practices within the global investment banking community over his vast career spanning over 30+ years. Bill is actively involved in global initiatives for education, interdiction, rehabilitation and restoration of victims of trafficking and sexual abuse.  As such, his particular area of interest is the work being performed in Kolkata by Mahima Homes as witnessed from prior trips to West Bengal.

  • Kimber Liu is one of the founding team members of Mahima Homes. For over 30 years, she has been an entrepreneurial ministry pioneer, church grower, leadership developer, and strategic catalyzer. She has served on various church teams in executive leadership roles and currently serves as the Executive Director of Younique.com and an Executive Coach for RunFree.co

    During her time working on the Operations, Education, and Mobilization teams at International Justice Mission, Kimber was afforded an in-depth view of the complexities of global human trafficking. Her unique knowledge and skillset enabled her to participate in bridge-building between the local church and international aftercare efforts to bring world-class aftercare resources to West Bengal for children, women, and men rescued from human trafficking. Kimber has leveraged her influence and knowledge by helping organizations raise awareness and establish aftercare standards in Florida, Alaska, and Hawaii. She is highly skilled at coordinating vision visits to the field so that investors can see the work firsthand, assess the effectiveness of the work, and make informed decisions based on values-driven ROI

  • Corbey Dukes serves as President and CEO of Kids Alive International, a global nonprofit dedicated to healing and empowering vulnerable children. For 12 years, he led Kids Alive's Guatemala programs, pioneering interventions for children who experienced sexual violence that included trauma care, family strengthening, legal advocacy, and justice system reform. The Supreme Court of Guatemala recognized these programs for their effectiveness, and they are now being replicated internationally. When Corbey visited Mahima Homes, he was immediately drawn to the team's passionate commitment and professional excellence, recognizing the same trauma-informed, Christ-centered approach that defines his life's work. He holds degrees in engineering, business, and religion from Clemson and Liberty Universities.

  • Jennifer Sperandio, MD, MPH, FAAFP is a Family Medicine physician with The Permanente Medical Group in Northern California. She works in the emergency room as an urgent care doctor. Jennifer is also a retired US Air Force Lieutenant Colonel who worked many roles in the service to include ER doctor, Family Medicine clinic doctor, Flight Surgeon, and Flight Commander.

    Jennifer first traveled to Kolkata with her church in 2020, where she met the inspiring team behind Mahima Homes. Since then, she has spent time in each home, connecting with rescued children and witnessing the care, love, and  and individual support they receive. Jennifer has helped raise awareness and support for Mahima Homes. Jennifer has helped garner support for Mahima Homes through her church-sponsored Gifts From The Heart. As a board member, she looks forward to expanding that impact and sharing the organization’s vital work in providing mental health care, education, job training, and legal assistance to its beneficiaries.

  • Douglas Gooding is originally from Dallas, Texas, and has lived, worked, and served in Atlanta since 2003. Now retired, Doug enjoyed a career in investment management, where he focused on serving institutional clients—including endowments, pension funds, and public funds—and specialized in international equities. Doug and his wife, Missie, have been active members of Peachtree Presbyterian Church for more than 20 years and are involved in several nonprofit ministries. After visiting Mahima Homes in India, Doug was deeply moved by the organization’s work and has since been a committed supporter of both national and global initiatives that provide restorative care to survivors of sex trafficking.
